Goodwood Saints have lost a disappointing round 15 clash with Salisbury North at Salisbury North Oval. Despite playing to maintain a clear lead in second place on the ladder the Saints were soundly beaten all over the ground in what was another unacceptable performance. The Saints will need to be ready to atone next week against a desperate Port District at Largs Reserve where Port District will be fighting to avoid the relegation zone.
The B grade had a great win over Salisbury North with some well know veterans starring. Unfortunately the C grade suffered most from the player unavailability problems in the higher grades and went down to Salisbury North.
The under 18s continued their consistent season with a strong 60 point win over Plympton. Led by an 8 goal haul to Tom Pysing and a disciplined team effort the side booked their place in the 2nd Semifinal in 2 weeks time.
