Saints beat Henley in Thriller

The Goodwood Saints have defeated Henley by 1 point at Goodwood Oval. Led by a best on ground performance from Skara the Saints held on in a high standard encounter which sealed the Saints double chance in the finals.

Straight kicking from the Saints allowed them to get out to an early 15 point lead (the largest of the match) and despite being headed in the 3rd quarter were able to get their noses in front when the final siren sounded.

Next Saturdays match against SHOC will determine where the following weeks qualifying final between the same sides is played.
